	The Sani-Loo is a grade C treatment system, which complies with the new legislation. If you install an AutoSan cassette system, the treated waste in the holding tank (included in the cassette) can be discharged anywhere in our waterways so long as you are not within: 1. 1/2 a nautical mile of a swimmer 2.1/2 a nautical mile of aquaculture or a designated reef area. or 3. In a marina. All sewerage must be treated before releasing, or stored in a holding tank and pumped out at an pumping station. There is a pumping station located at Southport Yacht Club & Mariners Cove , there is a fee involved.

Most boat owners are opting for the standard system. It is very difficult to quote on installation as all boats are different. Basically our charges are; parts and labour plus gst. However long it takes our staff members to install the system, is what we will invoice you for. As a rule we do not leave the marina here at Meridien Marinas - Horizon Shores, so your vessel will need to be here for the installation. (KLM are also the warranty and repair agents for the Sani-Loo, but again, work will only be carried out here in the Horizon Shores Marina). The Sani-Loo is an environmentally friendly marine sanitation device (MSD) that is automatic and easy to use. • The discharge of untreated sewerage waste is now prohibited in many waterways. Sani-Loo marine sanitation devices (MSD) are an easy solution to the disposal of waste, protecting our environment and keeping our waterways clean. • Used in association with an electric toilet, the Sani-Loo MSD will inject a pre determined dose of Chlorine, (present as Sodium Hypochlorite) that will kill 99.99% of algae, bacteria and viruses within 5 minutes of operation. • Meets Grade C Treated Sewage regulations, AS3542-1996 and USCG Type III standards. • Immediate treatment of waste with every flush of the toilet resulting in very low power use.
